For ordinary maintenance, we recommend cleaning the floor with water and muriatic, or hydrochloric, acid (make sure that the dilution percentage is between 10 and 30%), and then rinsing with water only.
When the tiles are completely dry, you can repeat the beeswax or linseed oil treatment. This time up to 3 coats can be applied, always waiting for the floor to dry completely between one coat and the next.
To avoid changes in the outcome of this treatment, it is advisable to use neutral soap, properly diluted in water, every time you clean the floor; if necessary, this treatment can be repeated after one year; after that, a crystallization process takes place so that it can be repeated less frequently.
